Welcome to Central Coast Lavender Farm
Central Coast Lavender is aCertified Organic Lavender Farm located at the heart of California's central coast inthe wine region of Paso Robles. With a backdrop of rolling vineyards, our lavender plants thrive along side the Salinas River.
Our south facing rows provide the desired climate and growing conditions for these Mediterranean natives. With a micro climate intent on high heat, full sun and well drained sandy soil our lavender plants feel right at home.
We are a small, family run farm with the desire to share our love of nature and the goodness of home grown, hand made items. Every thing here at the fields is developed and crafted from the ground up. Our signature products are always made with the finest, all natural ingredients and customer satisfaction in mind.
Central Coast Lavender is naturally grown without the use of chemicals or pesticides. We are a certified organic farm practicing sustainable and biodynamic framing. With our friends and fellow farmers we share in the love of lavender with several other lavender farms from San Diego, California to Sequim, Washington.
We grow several cultivars of lavender each for their uniqe healing essential oils and hydrosols but primarily grow both the angustifolia's and the intermedia's. We love the L. Angustifolia or "true lavender" for its precious healing oil, its finely sweet culinary flowers, edible leaves and buds and for its early bloom. We also grow a couple of other favorite's, the L x intermedia Provence for its full culinary flavor and its essential oils as well as the L. x intermedia Grosso for its distinctive camphoric essential oil its wonderfully long stems and full flower heads, perfect for wands. We use the buds from both of these culivars for comfort items from pillows to sachet's.
We take pride in providing quality by preparing our items in small batches complete with a hand wrap. It is my hope that our customers find the sweet whisper of Mother Nature and a serene comfort in the products we sell and in visiting the farm seasonaly.
